Marlene Dietsch founded Gaviota by Lia out of a deep love for the natural beauty of her native Dominican Republic. With a background in the personal-care industry, she has spent her career exploring what Dominican nature has to offer for skin care.

Her focus is authenticity, quality and sustainability: every product aims to reflect the diversity and vitality of the island, and to turn a daily skin-care routine into a genuine moment of self-care.
